Ahogy arról korábban folyamatosan tájékoztatást adtunk, a Magyar Olvasástársaág részese lett a Visegrad Reads to Kids programnak. A célunk az volt, hogy felhívjuk a figyelmet a gyerekeknek történő (fel)olvasás jelentőségére.

Ennek keretében 2018. június 4-e és 10-e között több városban szerveztünk felolvasásokat, író-olvasó találkozókat, kiállítást, villámcsődületet.

Az eseményeken összességében több ezer gyerek vett részt, és a tapasztalatok arra sarkallnak minket, hogy jövőre még nagyobb szabású, még több embert elérő, megmozgató projektet tervezzünk.

In Hungary different venues organized the programmes. The places were:
Pécs (04. 06. 2018. – Monday)
Budapest (05. 06. 2018. – Tuesday)
Kecskemét (06. 06. 2018. – Wednesday)
Kaposvár (07. 06. 2018. – Thursday)
Szabolcs-Szatmár County with 64 (!) settlements (08. 06. 2018. – Friday)

About the programmes:
Pécs
The Csorba Győző Library invited children (about 40) for storytelling. The author was Emese Tasnádi, the actress who read the stories was Barbara Vlasits.

Budapest
There were two different programmes. The first for the children in age 4-6, the second for children in age 7-10.
For the first (about 30 children) group we organised storytelling. Our guest were two authors, Gabi Both and Mária Bajzáth.
The second group (about 40 pupils) met two authors, Ferenc Gáspár and Péter Nyulász. There was reading and talking about the stories.

Kecskemét
There were more different programmes in Kecskemét.
Bálint Harcos (writer) read to kids from his book. Gyula Tamás Szeberényi (vice mayor) read to children too. He chose a popular czech children’s book.
Kecskemét organized a special exhibition as well. The title was „12 World”, the subject was the contemporary czech children’s literature and the illustrations.
In the library there was a funny contest for kids.

Kaposvár
We organized a flashmob with 500 children.
Our guest was a famous poet, Dániel Varró. He reads poems and stories to the children. Our help was an actor, Csaba Fándly from Kaposvár.

Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County
The main event was in Apagy, but there were many different programmes int he county.
The participants were: Anita Munkácsi, Darinka Dézsi, Noémi Fridrik, Károly Tóth (actors and actresses from Móricz Zsigmond Theatre), Adél Gosztola (Actress from Budapest), Gábor Bakos-Kiss (actor from Budapest).
There were storytelling and reading.
Our partners were some authors: Zsanett Hajdú, Szabina Nagy, Szilvia Simon, Bálint Harcos.
The number of the children who participate on the programmes were about 3.000.
